Jana Jones

Children's Minister Jana joined the staff of Holy Covenant in November of 2003.  She is originally from Carlsbad, New Mexico, where she grew up in the Methodist church.  She graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Business and Accounting.  During college, she was a member of the Texas Tech Wesley Foundation and served on their leadership team.  Jana is also involved in the Emmaus community.  She was a member of the New Mexico Southeastern Region Chrysalis Board for three years.  Chrysalis is a youth version of the Walk to Emmaus.  In addition to these activities, Jana was the co-leader of a girls' youth group for three years at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Lubbock, Texas. Jana enjoys spending time with her husband Chris, who is the Director of Recreational Ministries at Christ United Methodist Church in Plano.  She also likes to read, play golf, and is a fan of Texas Tech Red Raider football. Jana's desire for Children's Ministries is to bring kids into a fun environment where they can develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  She hopes that the people of Holy Covenant will watch children as they worship, listen as they pray, and learn as they speak to our hearts.
