Rev. Wendy Curran

Associate Pastor of Spiritual Formation Wendy is a native Texan and grew up in Irving, Texas.  She comes from Christ United Methodist Church in Plano where served on staff for close to 7 years; first as Director of Women’s and Singles Ministry  and then finally as Minister of Adult Education and a licensed local pastor.   While at Christ UMC, Wendy received her call to ordained ministry in the midst of completing Disciple Bible Study I, but first had to finish her undergraduate degree.  She received her BA in Interdisciplinary Studies at University of Texas at Dallas and began seminary at the Perkins School of Theology in 2005. Douglas, Wendy’s husband, owns a professional matchmaking company called “Christian Single Adults” and they have a son, Nic, who is a senior in high school. Wendy is excited to join Holy Covenant and brings with her a passion for adult and small group ministry.  She looks forward to getting to know everyone at HCUMC and to serving the community as they journey together toward a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
