Food Pantry Needs

·Canned meats-chicken, Spam, etc.
·Canned pasta-spaghetti, ravioli, etc.

If you can donate any of these items, please drop them off at the church office.

Thanks to our dedicated team of volunteers and Central Dallas Ministries, the HCUMC Summer Lunch Program helped provide nutritious meals for children in our community. No child should be hungry.

Jonathan's graduated with honors from Baylor University with a Masters Degree in Piano Pedagogy (teaching) and Performance. 

The Music Ministry of Holy Covenant United Methodist Church offers the chance to let music be a part of your gift to God.
There is a place for all ages to share in serving God through music. You are invited to participate in our music program where you will grow spiritually, personally, and musically. We need new members for all activities in the Music Ministry. Childcare is provided for all adult music activities.

College and Careers Sunday School class has just begun. 
Those 18-25 years old are invited to join Rick & Vicki Davis in room 110 in the Covenant Center for a wild ride through various Dr Seuss books!

Visitor’s Class held the 1st Sunday of every month from 9:45 to 10:45 in Covenant Center Room 113.   Helma Gentry will give an overview of our church, its ministries and take the visitors on a tour of the Holy Covenant buildings.  

We’re always looking for new characters in our class, so please join us at 9:45am in the 2nd floor chapel/library room in the Covenant Center.

The Seekers Class studies books based on Biblical themes or studies verses  or lessons from the Bible.   We have spirited discussions  allowing for a variety of viewpoints.

"Sunday Serendipity" - each Sunday will be a different topic depending on the issues arising during the preceding week

All Men's class.  As often noted in the life of the church this class has several projects, but Sunday morning is study time.

Description:  Discovering how to recognize the visions, words, thoughts, and feelings received from the Divine, while discerning the difference between true Divine messages and the voice of the ego. 
 

Prayer: Does It Make Any Difference? By Phillip Yancy
August 1, 6 week study ending Sept. 5.
An invitation to communicate with God the Father who invites us into an eternal partnership through prayer.
