Holy Covenant Breakfast Club

Holy Covenant’s Breakfast Club meets on Monday mornings beginning on July 12th  from 7:00 – 8:00 AM in room 113 of the Covenant Center. This group enjoys food, fellowship, and discussion of books that we read on the Bible and on Christian living. We’d love to have you stop by and share with us!

Beginning on Monday, July 12th, we will be discussing Tullian Tchividjian’s book Unfashionable. It is not easy to stand against the tide of the culture and challenge it without sounding either terribly prissy or hopelessly out of date. How can a thoughtful Christian be genuinely contemporary while never succumbing to the merely faddish and temporary? The challenges are enormous – but they are also tied to the most elementary tenets of Christian faithfulness. Unfashionable is theologically careful, biblically grounded, and culturally in touch. It will challenge you and point you to the radically Christ-centered life you were saved by God’s amazing grace to live. Tullian Tchividjian hits us between the eyes when he says, ‘Christians who retreat into a comfortable subculture are bad missionaries – it’s that simple.’ It is that simple, and this book will help you find the way out! The books are $13. For more information, contact Gary Feltner at 972-394-9798 or just join us on any Monday morning!
