Cub ScoutsHoly Covenant sponsors Cub Scout Pack 900 and Cub Scout Pack 845 for 1st through 5th Grade boys. Pack 900 meets at Annie Heads Rainwater Elementary School in Carrollton and Pack 845 meets at Furneaux Elementary School also in Carrollton.Boy ScoutsHoly Covenant has sponsored Troop 574 since its organization in 1973. The troop meets each Monday from 7:00-8:30 pm at this church. In addition, the troop also has frequent camping and hiking trips as well as service projects. The troop has produced several Eagle Scouts. For further information and current events, go to the Troop 574 website . Holy Covenant also sponsors Venture Crew 574. This program is for young adults, both male and female, between the ages of 14 and 21. The only restriction is the Scout must have completed the 8th grade and have turned 14 before joining. Venture crews are a natural extension to the Scouting program and offer a program that is more age appropriate. They focus on high adventure camping and trips. Girl ScoutsThe Girl Scout Program does not require Holy Covenant to act as a Chartering organization for the various Troops that use our facility. However, HCUMC does welcome several Troops who call HCUMC home.BrowniesThis group of girls meets every other Thursday at 6:45 pm and has fun activities as they learn the importance of teamwork and personal preparedness. |
