Burton H Patterson is an organist and highly successful businessman. He donates organs to churches. The organ that we are getting has been in a Baptist church near Abilene. It is one year old. They are going strictly praise band in their worship and asked Mr. Patterson to come get the organ. Through a clergy friend of Andy and I, we learned of Mr. Patterson’s wish to find a home for it. It is a $100,000 Johannes organ. It is digital and I'm told sounds exactly like a pipe organ. Since it is new technology, I expect it to be space saving, attractive and a wonderful addition to our traditional worship services. Mr. Patterson also pays for installation. Sounds too good to be true but it isn't. It is for real. As soon as the Baptist church tells him it is ok to get it, he will take it from them and bring it to us. I am working on an article for the North Texas Conference announcing the availability of our Rodgers organ. This is very exciting for us! We will plan to use it more regularly and also plan a special concert of dedication after it is installed. Blessings on Burton Patterson! Debbie |

Concert Opportunity from Gary Feltner
The Dallas School of Music (where I have worked for almost 18 years) is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. This coming Saturday, February 11, we are hosting a celebration that includes an open house and a concert by our faculty. (I am blessed to work with amazingly talented people.) The open house is at 6:00 PM, and the concert is at 7:00 PM. The event is free, but we'd like to have people reserve a spot so that we know how many to expect. Reservations can be made by clicking https://bookwhen.com/apcv5/201202111800/dm7
The Dallas School of Music is located at 2650 Midway Rd., Ste. 204, Carrollton, 75007. We are on the southeast corner of Trinity Mills and Midway, on the second floor (you should be able to see the red "Dallas School of Music" sign on the side of the building.) There is an elevator on the north side of the building, if needed. I'd love to see any of you there who can attend.
Also, there will be an article in this Friday's Carrollton "NehgborsGo" section of the Dallas Morning News. If any of you think about it, I'd love to have a few copies of the article. Thanks everyone - have a great week!
