News from San Juan, Guatemala
On July 4, 2008 I traveled to San Juan, Guatemala with members from University Park UMC.  Our project was to get one step closer to converting an abandoned church into a medical/dental clinic.  The main things we did were to put in a ceiling and to stucco the walls.  We finished the ceiling but the walls will take another team to finish.  I am going back in September, 2008 with members from Holy Covenant.  We will be working on the same project, possibly finishing the walls and putting in a floor.  Guatemala is a beautiful country with wonderful people.  I am excited about returning and bringing people from our church who have responded to God's call to help His people.

Shalom,
Dawnie
