John 21.17  Jesus said, "Feed my sheep.” 

Holy Covenant maintains a food pantry for those in need who come to the Church.  The food is purchased through the North Texas Food Bank for $0.14 per pound.  You can donate either money or food to the pantry.

Additional help is needed on Wednesdays around 9 AM to assist with putting away the items obtained from the North Texas Food Bank.

ADULT MISSION TRIP

HOLY COVENANT SENDS SHEPHERDS TO GUATEMALA

In September, there will be a mission trip to Guatemala for the purpose of renovating an old deserted Methodist Church into a medical clinic in an effort to assist the community in administering good health and loving care to all its residents.  This is a wonderful opportunity to contribute and feel the warmth of love and care being transmitted to God’s children in another location.  All that is required is love for humanity and a desire to serve.  May we be “shepherds” by sharing our talents, help and love with them and helping them “grow their crops and care for their lambs” and by so doing, follow God’s will and share His love for all mankind.

Bishop's Africa University Initiative
In I Corinthians 3:6, Paul writes: I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. (NRSV) "Africa University has been built (planted), and I am hoping and praying that we, the North Texas Conference, will be Apollos, by watering the plant, but always mindful that it is God who give the growth."
