Matthew 14:15-16 When it was evening, the disciples came to him and said, ‘This is a deserted place, and the hour is now late; send the crowds away so that they may go into the villages and buy food for themselves.’ 16Jesus said to them, ‘They need not go away; you give them something to eat. The Spiritual Journeymen organize this outreach to serve a meal once per quarter at the Austin Street Centre in downtown Dallas. Holy Covenant provides the Sunday breakfast at the Austin Street Shelter located in downtown Dallas. Approximately 300 men and women are served on each occasion. See the Spiritual Journeymen page for more info. (Adult Men) Participants are asked to provide 12 sandwiches (of any type, individually wrapped), 12 pieces of fruit and 12 hard-boiled eggs. Seekers Class studies books based on Biblical themes or studies verses or lessons from the Bible. We have spirited discussions allowing for a variety of viewpoints. Room 210 - 2nd Level Covenant Center
The Sunday Morning Live adult classes will begin discussion of Longing for Enough in a Culture of More. The book is available through Cokesbury or Amazon.com. We Meet in the Covenant Center classroom adjacent to the kitchen.
Our class is currently discussing the book, "Parenting on Point: Leading Your Family ALong God's Path" by author Jim C. Williams. Come join us as we discuss the tools and methods outlined in the book, Sunday mornings in room 113 in the Covenant Center.
