Holy Covenant sponsored a cheerleading camp on Saturday, June 14th. Around 12 girls attended the camp with their bright smiles and enthusiastic attitudes! Coach Kristina Robertson did a great job teaching the girls chants, cheers, techniques, jumps and most importantly about cheerleader spirit! Everyone enjoyed cookies and Kool-Aid after practicing the cheers and showing off what they learned. Each participant was presented a certificate and pom-poms. The children’s faces lit up at the sight of pom-poms and one girl said, “This is just what I wanted!” As we left the Covenant Center gym, I could still hear the echoes of “Hey go team, go, go team!” It was a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.| < Prev | Next > |
