Dear Church,

Bishop Michael McKee sent the following message regarding the decision by the Judicial counsel on the nomination, election, consecration and assignment of Karen Oliveto as a Bishop of the United Methodist Church. Bishop’s response.  

The Judicial Council ruled that the consecration of a gay bishop violates church law but also said Bishop Oliveto will continue as a Bishop of the church until an administrative or judicial process is completed

Please make note of these rescheduled activities

–Parents’ Night Out has been moved from May 12 to May 19.

– Disciple I will NOT meet on May 14, Mother’s Day and will instead meet on Sunday, May 21 at 4 pm in the Covenant Center.

–The Labyrinth Walk for May has been moved from May 14, Mother’s Day to Sunday, May 21 at 5 pm.
