Dear Church,

Parents’ Night Out is this Friday, September 16 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm in the Covenant Center for ages Infant – 5th Grade. Reservations are required by noon on Wednesday, September 14th! Reserve a place for your child at www.hcumc.org. You may drop off and pick up children anytime during the designated hours. $6 per child; $15 max per same family.

There will be a Craft Fair Discussion Sunday, September 18 @12:30 pm Room 113 in the Covenant Center. The Craft Fair Team will meet to discuss the future of the Holy Covenant Craft Fair. If you, or a group you are a part of, are interested in continuing this event, please join us. For more information, please contact Ginger Rathbun [email protected].

A short, informational meeting about SALT will take place this Sunday, September 18 @ 12:15 pm in the Sanctuary. Looking for a meaningful volunteer opportunity? Give a child the gift of reading. Only 20 minutes a week gives a child the boost he or she needs to succeed. We would love for anyone interested to come learn how they can be a part of the community by reading with students for 20 mins per week. For more information, contact Andrea Allen [email protected].

If you would like to follow the progress of my health journey, please go to https://www.caringbridge.org/public/revcarolsparks for updates.

Blessings!

Pastor Carol

“Creating IMPACT for a Deeply Satisfying Life” sermon series is designed to lead us into prioritizing our goals and use the tools we already have to enjoy a life experience that is deeply satisfying for us while impacting the lives of others.

Through some of the best preachers in the North Texas Conference, we are going to open ourselves to a new way of being in our lives so that each and every one of us has the opportunity to feel satisfied and whole.

Each week we will consider what it means to use the lessons of Christ to direct and order our lives today. We will move beyond hearing and into action!
