Good afternoon!

Since Monday I have been in Comfort, Texas with other music directors from around the state.  It was a very spiritual and fun time with my peers.  I got back late this afternoon, so I apologize for not getting this note out on Tuesday as usual.

Sunday is Children’s Sabbath.  Our children’s choir (Grades 1-5) will join the adults singing the Prelude and the Anthem at both services.  We so appreciate the dedication and willingness of our children to lead in both of these worship services.

Here are special dates to remember along with some of the anthems scheduled:

Let Debbie know if you need nursery.  Please invite others to join us!

Come join the Wesleyan Choir as we prepare this wonderful Cantata.  The music is all early American in style.  We’ll perform with flute, violin, guitar, drums, keyboard, mandolin, etc.  There will be a workday on Saturday, October 18 when we will focus entirely on this work.  There are books and CD’s available for your voice part to aid learning. The last 30 minutes of rehearsal (8:30 to 9:00 pm) will focus on this work every Wednesday night between now and December.  December 10 will be our final rehearsal with the instrumentalists from 7 to 9 pm.   Let’s make this our largest group of singers yet!
