Greetings and Blessings!

As we move through the next days and weeks, let us remember the reason for the season. Remember that we wouldn’t have the resurrection and the promise of eternal life if it were not for Jesus’ birth.

This coming week is a full one for me as many begin celebrating the season.  I have four singers going with me to lead carols as a party on Dec. 2 (Tuesday night).  If you want to go along, please let me know ASAP.

Wednesday night, Dec. 3 will be an important rehearsal for the children’s choir, Covenant Carillons and our adult choir.  Several instrumentalists will be at the Wesleyan Choir rehearsal (7:30 pm) and our entire rehearsal will be spent preparing for December 14.   The Wesleyan Choir will be singing on December 7th with the youth as the bells play “I Saw Three Ships.”  Youth ringers and singers should arrive at 7:45 am to prepare and Adults should arrive at 8:15 am on the 7th.   Youth must plan to be present at both services.  We will not rehearse on Sundays again until January.

Thursday, December 4, the Covenant Carillons and the Wesleyan Choir will present a 30 minute program at the Latter Day Saints Church.  The address is 4000 Nazarene, Carrollton, TX  75010.  Debbie will need help transporting handbells, pads, music stands, etc.   We can talk about this at rehearsal, but consider how you can help.  Our performance starts at  7:00 pm.  We will begin with the singing choir and end with the handbells so that there is plenty of time for the non-singers to get set up.  Plan to arrive no later that 6:45 pm, if possible.  Wesleyan Choir shirts have come in.  Debbie will bring them to rehearsal on Wednesday for us to wear on Thursday night.
