Greetings and Blessings!   

As we move through the next days and weeks, let us remember the reason for the season. Remember that we wouldn’t have the resurrection and the promise of eternal life if it were not for Jesus’ birth. 


We are half way through our December calendar.  The music on Sunday was pure joy.  Thanks again for all your hard work.  I am so proud of each one of you.  


December 17 – 6:30 pm  Covenant Carillons will rehearse.

       7:30 pm, The Wesleyan Choir meet at parsonage to sing carols for the Pastor’s Open House.  Wear  

       Christmas Colors.  Debbie will bring the music.  See you there!

December 21 – 4th Sunday in Advent – Handbell Choirs perform – Joyful Noise and Covenant Carillons.  

December 24 – Christmas Eve   6:00 pm Children’s Service.  7:00 pm – Candlelight and Carols with Wesleyan Choir;  11:00 pm, Candlelight and Communion with solos and small groups

December 28 – Covenant Vocal Band, Helma Gentry preaching.

December 31 – no rehearsals

    Revelation Ringers and Singers


Thanks for all you do!  The music for December 7 and 14 made me proud.  See you in January. 


Dates are being considered for our 2015 choir tour.  Please send your summer dates to Debbie, so she can consider your schedules when planning our trip!

                Wesleyan Choir


Dec. 17, we will meet at the parsonage at 7:30 pm.  The parsonage address is

1021 E. Seminole Trail in Carrollton 75007


Sunday, Dec. 21, there is no choir anthem.  The adult handbell choirs will ring the special music.


Wednesday, December 24.  The Wesleyan Choir will sing “Night of Silence” at the 7:00 pm service.  Arrive at 6:45 pm to prepare.


Sunday, December 31 – No choir anthem.


Rehearsals resume January 7, 2015!

No regular rehearsals until January 7.

Thanks for your wonderful performances in December.


Children’s Choir (Choir room)

Grades 1-5, Wednesdays at 6:30 pm 

Pre-schoolers sing with nursery workers during our services of worship on Sundays.


Children’s handbells will not rehearse until all 8 positions are filled.  Let Debbie know if you are in the 3rd – 5th grade and want to ring.

Jonathan’s graduated with honors from Baylor University with a Masters Degree in Piano Pedagogy (teaching) and Performance. 

Handbell Choirs

Covenant Carillons and Joyful Noise play on December 21.

(Covenant Carillons rehearse Wednesday, Dec. 17 at 6:30 pm)

Dec. 21 – Arrive at 7:30 am.  We’ll wear Christmas Colors


Covenant Carillons  Wednesdays at 6:30 pm Resume January 7

Joyful Noise  Sundays at 1:30 pm – Resume rehearsals January 4

Children’s bells (grades 3-5)

We are not rehearsing until we have 4 more ringers!
