Choirs are beginning again soon!  See below for the schedule.  I am in need of a pre-school choir director.  Maybe a couple of you can go together to lead this group of children, age 3 (by 9/1) to Kindergarten age.  Did you know that three year old’s are are largest class of children currently! We have a snack lunch for all at 12:15 pm  Rehearsal goes from 12:45 pm to 1:30 pm in Room A off the Sanctuary.  Consider how you can help with our youngest children.  Debbie has resources and can help you get started.  You will be blessed!  

Remember these dates:

Wednesday, August 28 – Adult Choir 11:00 is “Creation of Peace”

Sunday, September 4 – Adult Choir “In this Very Room” (11:00)

Wednesday, September 7 – Handbell polishing party at 6:30 pm.  Adult Choir goes back to rehearsing form 7:30 – 9:00 pm

Sunday, September 11 – CKY begins 

  12:15 pm – Snack lunch 

  12:45 pm UMYF, Children’s Choir (age 3 – 5th grade)

  1:30 pm – Children’s bells (grades 3-5)  

  2:15 pm – Youth Choir and Bells (grades 6-12)

Adult Choirs NOW!  Wednesdays at 7:00 pm (through August) then… Wednesdays at 7:30 pm starting September 7.  No audition.  Simply come check it out!

Kids Choirs – Start September 11.  

Snack Lunch at 12:15 pm

Cherub Choir – Age 3 – Kindergarten  12:45 to 1:30 pm (director needed for this group) In Room A off the Sanctuary

Music Machine Choir – Grades 1-5 12:45 pm in Room 207 (next to youth room)  Melanie Luce, Director

Wednesday, September 14 – Covenant Carillons begin rehearsing at 6:30 pm in the Sanctuary   Nursery is provided.

Drummer needed for drum kit or African drums such as djembe, congas, etc.  There are many anthems and hymns that need that extra touch that only a drum can give.  Do you play or know someone who does?  Please let Debbie know.

Many are allergic to perfume and lotions.  Keep that in mind for rehearsals and Sunday mornings.
