What is Happening This Week

Hello Church!

This week we will begin observing the season of Lent at our Ash Wednesday Worship, February 10^th at 7 pm including the imposition of ashes. Other events this week:

All men are invited to a Church Men’s Social on Tuesday, February 9 from 7 to 9 pm at Dante Paa’s home. Please contact Dante [email protected] for the street address.

The Ladies In Fellowship Together (L.I.F.T.) will meet Thursday, February 11 at 6:30 pm at Jeriann Bayley’s home. You can contact Jeriann at [email protected] if you have questions. Bring a snack or covered dish to share and enjoy food, fellowship and a short devotional. 

Holy Covenant will host a Parents’ Night Out on Friday, February 12^th from 6 to 9 pm. The cost is $6 per child and you MUST reserve a place for your child by Wednesday, February 10th at www.hcumc.org.

The youth will leave for Mid-Winter Retreat in the afternoon of Friday, February 12^th and return the afternoon of Sunday, February 14^th.

Enter your soup or chili in our Soup/Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, February 27. The cook-off begins at 5 pm in the Covenant
 Center followed by a Talent Show in the sanctuary at 6 pm. Sign-up sheets are in the Narthex.
