Mission Trip to Sinton, Texas – June 24-30
This trip is an adult/youth trip. We would love to have an adult team that will go and work together. If you have interest, please contact Rev. Bill Mauldin [email protected]. Sign up in the Narthex or online at Mission Trip. Youth that are 8th grade and up are invited to sign up as well. Youth that are in 6th and 7th grade will need an adult to come along as a sponsor. We have a limited number of slots, once those are filled that is all we can take. This is an amazing opportunity for the church to be in service together, crossing boundaries to be the church.
Fan Drive – We will be collecting fans for Senior Citizens and others in need through June 24th. Please drop off your fans in the Narthex. We will transport the fans to Metrocrest Social Services who will distribute fans to those who need them. In the past the recipients have expressed sincere appreciation and talked about how much of a difference it made for them. If you do not have time to go out and purchase a fan, we will be happy to do so for you. For $20 we can purchase a new Box Fan or a Standing Oscillating Fan, so just note that your donation is for “Fans.”
For adults and youth that would like to help provide leadership for mission work this year in Houston or would just like an opportunity to learn some new information. Register at VIM Training.
