Dear Church
This Sunday, July 15th, please join us for a “Sending Forth Potluck Luncheon ” for Rose and Mike Lovell. We will gather in the Covenant Center following worship to break bread and wish them well as they move to California. Meat will be provided, so please bring your favorite side dish or dessert!

VBS is going great this week! Please continue to keep the kids and volunteers in your prayers as we learn, sing, dance, pray and play together.

Triumph Sports will host a Christian Rookie Sport Camp here at Holy Covenant for 4-7 year olds from 8:30-11:30am. Cost is $90. You can register at Triumph. This will be our first year working with them but they have a wonderful and long history with many of our fellow North Texas UMCs.

This will be an opportunity to learn more about the proposed legislation on “The Way Forward” that will be considered by the General Conference in 2019. More details and registration at Laity Event.

Depressed Anonymous
Meets Wednesdays at 6:00 pm
The Colony Emergency Hospital
4780 Hwy 121, The Colony, TX 75056
Meetings are approximately one hour and are open to any person in the area who feels they suffer from depression and wish to find a way out of “the prison of depression”. We follow a 12 STEP program, similar to that of AA, and discuss materials relating to how one can contain or escape depression. The meetings are open-ended so a person may join at any time.
