This Sunday, SEPTEMBER 9, is Welcome Back Sunday! Children will be promoted to their new classes, teachers will receive a blessing in worship, Children’s Choirs and Youth Fellowship will resume and a new worship series will begin!

The Ladies in Fellowship Together (LIFT) will meet on Thursday, September 13 at 6:30 pm at the home of Erin Shepardson (4242 Arbor Creek Dr., Carrollton 75010). Bring a snack or covered dish to share. Enjoy food, fellowship and a short devotional.

ECDP has great teachers and great substitute teachers, and is always looking for more! If you have experience working with young children, a talent for managing chaos, and a lot of energy, ECDP will hold a Substitute Orientation & Training on Thursday, September 13^th, starting at 9:15 am in Room 202. This meeting lasts a little over an hour. Director Beth McClure [email protected] will give you all the information you need for subbing in our preschool.

Camp Bible
September 22-23
Bridgeport Camp and Conference Center
Camp Bible is a special weekend for 3rd-5th graders where our focus will be Encountering Jesus. We will experience the places Jesus walked, taught, healed, fed and ministered. Not only will we share in the adventure of learning about our Bibles, we will share in camp life as well. Get ready to look at the stars, eat outside, play games, shoot arrows, dance, do crafts and so much more. You can register online today!
Cost is $85. No registration after September 6.

CKY Lunches
We are asking that parents/guardians of our children and youth that participate in our Covenant Kids and Youth (CKY) sign up to provide lunch a few Sundays a year. If everyone signs up it should be about once a semester. We currently feed approximately about 40 people. Meal can be simple like pizza, hot dogs, or sandwiches. But some of you have to gift of cooking for groups so those gifts are appreciated too. Sign up at CKY Lunch.

Depressed Anonymous
Meets Wednesdays at 6:00 pm
The Colony Emergency Hospital

Meetings are approximately one hour and are open to any person in the area who feels they suffer from depression and wish to find a way out of “the prison of depression”. We follow a 12 STEP program, similar to that of AA, and discuss materials relating to how one can contain or escape depression. The meetings are open-ended so a person may join at any time.
