Next Week’s Highlights:

LIFT
Thursday, December 12
6:30 pm
The monthly LIFT (Ladies in Fellowship Together) meeting will be at the home of Lois Eaton. Go to L.I.F.T. for more information. Bring a snack or covered dish to share. We will enjoy food, fellowship and a short devotional. If you do not have time to prepare a dish, please join us anyway – we want you with us! Come join us for this time of fellowship!

Cantata
Sunday, December 15
Holy Covenant Music Ministries invite you to a presentation of the cantata “Appalachian Winter” during worship at 10:30 am on Sunday, December 15.

Angel Tree
The Angel Tree is up in the narthex! Adopting an angel is simple. Take a paper angel off the tree with information about your angel. Purchase new, unused items and remove price tags. Put items in a bag and attach your angel to the outside of the bag. Bring your bagged gifts to Holy Covenant by Sunday, December 15!

2019: A Year in the Bible
Feel like you’ve missed the boat on reading the Bible in chronological order? Don’t! You can jump right in in any of the following ways:
1. Download the free Bible app by You Version. This link should take you to the group from Holy Covenant that are doing this reading together: Invitation.
2. You can use the link above on-line as well. If you don’t want to be connected to others you can just go to bible.com. Go to plans and search The One Year Chronological Bible.
3. You can listen to The One Year Chronological Bible at Audiobook or you can download the app and listen to it on your phone.
4. You can buy a The One Year Chronological Bible in book form at Amazon or download it to your Kindle or E-Reader.
5. You can use any Bible you want and follow this print out that tells you what scriptures to read each day: Reading Plan.

How to Help Those Affected by the Dallas Tornadoes
-Donate funds to the NT Disaster Relief to meet the needs in the affected communities. Please type in “Dallas Tornado” in the memo box so funds are directed to the correct group. The donated fund will go toward buying gift cards for families to replace basic necessities. Funds can fill in the gaps between insurance and out-of-pocket expenses.
-Purchase gift cards: Target, Walmart, Sam’s Club cards can help families in transition. Send or deliver gift cards (to the attention of Rev. Andy Lewis) to the North Texas Conference Ministry Center, 500 Maplelawn Dr., Plano, TX 75075.
