Angel Tree

Holy Covenant and Connecting the Community plan to serve boys, girls and families in the Carrollton area this Christmas. Due to COVID, we are working with connectingthecommunity.org to offer a virtual Angel Tree. Instead of buying gifts, we are inviting you to instead purchase gift cards. Go to connectingthecommunity.org and choose Amazon or Walmart gift cards, or you can make a cash donation to the church which will be used to buy gift cards. You can have the gift cards emailed to the church, mailed, or you can drop them off at the church office.

All gift cards need to be received at Holy Covenant by Sunday, December 6.

Coming Soon

Advent Study 2020
Starts November 30 via Zoom
During the season of Advent, you are invited to attend a Zoom Advent Program.   We will meet on Monday evenings beginning November 30 following the first Sunday of Advent from 6:30 – 7:30 PM. We will be following a study Adam Hamilton created this summer for the 2020 Pandemic Advent season. The study is called Incarnation: Rediscovering the Significand of Christmas. You are welcome to buy the book or not. I will be using his book as a foundation but it is not required reading for this program. If you are struggling this advent season with your lack of joyfulness, perhaps deepening your faith and seeing how our Lord arrived into a very dark world will be helpful. We are all in this together!
We will meet: November 30, December 7, 14, 21, and ending on January 4. We will be sending out the Zoom invite on November 30, watch for the link.

Advent Devotions
Starting December 1
Beginning December 1, we will email an Advent devotional out every morning. There will be scripture, a brief reflection and a short prayer. We hope this might be a blessed way to begin each day as we seek light, as we journey to the manger.

Blood Drive
Sunday, December 13
8:30 am to Noon
HCUMC parking lot
COVID-19 Antibody Testing is available for all donors. Give blood and get Mavericks gear! Carter BloodCare observes social distancing guidelines.
