Happy Thanksgiving Week! Hope you have wonderful plans during this week that includes a school break and a favorite holiday! We have all had a busy fall that has continued to include both our return to normal and a continuation of our stressful pandemic season. So a break from the normal routine will be wonderful for everyone! This Sunday the bells will be blessing our Thanksgiving worship and our final Sunday of the Christian year. Hope you will join us outside at 8:30 or in the sanctuary and streaming at 10:30. Following worship we will have the Food Pantry open and be decorating the sanctuary for Advent ~ Christmas if you are available to help. I look forward to greeting you on Sunday! Outside Sunday Worship 8:30 am OUTSIDE WORSHIP – We gather Sundays outside by the cross at 8:30 am. Pledges Received: 70 Annual Total $335,184 % of Budget 64% Highlight This Week ECDP Book Fair Sunday, November 21 Before and after 10:30 worship in Education Building Room 106 or Online at Scholastic We are extending our Scholastic Book Fair for our church family! This is a fundraiser for our preschool. We earn points for the book fair and use them to buy books, supplies and learning equipment! You are invited to shop our Book Fair this Sunday during the Sunday School hour and for 30 minutes after the 10:30 am worship service ends. Online shopping will be available through November 28 at Scholastic and includes books for all ages. Please support our school, maybe do a little Christmas shopping, and get some great books! Food Pantry Pantry Hours: Tuesday-Thursday from 10-2 2nd and 3rd Sundays from 12-1 pm. We accept donations on Thursdays and Saturdays from 10-12. Currently, we need: hearty soups and dog/cat food. The Missions Team thanks you for always being there to support the Food Pantry with your donations, your time, and your prayers. Office Hours for the Week of Thanksgiving: Tuesday, November 23: Church office open from 9 am to 3 pm. Food Pantry open 10 am to 2 pm. Wednesday, November 24-Monday, November 29: Church Office and Food Pantry closed. Both the office and the pantry will reopen Tuesday, November 30. Highlights Next Week Advent Festival Sunday, November 28 4-6 pm HC Covenant Center Bring your family and friends to celebrate the beginning of Advent. We will have crafts, cookie decorating, hot chocolate and fun for everyone! You can pick up an Advent candle and maybe even ride a Christmas train! Angel Tree November 28 – December 12 Starting Sunday, November 28th, you are invited to take an angel representing a child in need in our area. We are again asking for either Amazon or Walmart gift cards, or you can make a monetary donation to the church which will be used to buy gift cards. You can have the cards mailed to the church, or you can drop them off Sunday mornings at the tree or during the week in the church office.
