What is Happening This Week 5/27-5/30/21

![]() ![]() Holy Covenant Family, My days at Scott AFB have been filled with joy as I have cuddled our precious granddaughter, Hazel Noel (24 days old). Her big brother Harris has been busy and tons of fun! I am looking forward to being with you on Sunday to reflect on the gift of time we have in our lives. As I have been family-focused these days, the work of the Holy Spirit has continued at Holy Covenant. Last week, thanks to the efforts of Erin Shepardson and the team of teachers, our preschool successfully completed the semester despite the pandemic. On Sunday, we gathered under the passionate leadership of Ms. Helma to praise God in our Pentecost worship; the Food Pantry served 40 families; and the leadership has made some faithful steps in upgrading our aging facilities. This weekend, as we celebrate the first three day weekend of the summer, we need your help. Our giving has been slow the last few weeks. This is an unfortunate pattern over the past few years as we near summer. My hope and prayer is that your generosity will continue. Please help us to be the church God is calling us to be here in Carrollton. Give as you are able to support the ministries and the work of the Spirit here on the corner of E. Peters Colony and Josey. God needs us to be faithful disciples for a time such as this. Thank you in advance for your generous gifts and spirit! I look forward to greeting you on Sunday! Shalom Blessings, Pastor Cheryl Outside Sunday Worship 8:30 am ![]() OUTSIDE WORSHIP – We gather Sundays outside by the cross at 8:30 am.
