What is Happening This Week 10/13-10/16/22

Holy Covenant Family,

We are going to have a great celebration on Sunday – hope you will be with us!!!

Rev. Edlen Cowley, the Metro District Superintendent, is preaching at 10:30 worship. Please join us in the sanctuary and live streaming. There will be NO 8:30 service! Pastor Edlen is very excited about being with us! We scheduled his visit six months ago!

Following worship, we will have a brief Charge Conference meeting for everyone in the sanctuary and livestreaming. We will have an update from Edlen about the North Texas Conference situation and a recap of our past year. We will vote on new leadership and the pastor’s salary package.

Hope you will join us for this wonderful Sunday celebration!

Shalom Blessings,
Pastor Cheryl

wood-train-set.jpg Kids Corner
We are so excited about our new kids corner in the sanctuary. We have the kids corner so that if your little one is having trouble focusing or sitting still in church they can take a little break and play in the kids corner. Parents, take a breath, stay in your seat and focus on worship knowing that Laulie will be over there to manage.

Let’s make sure we are as respectful and caring as possible with this new space!
– kids corner is available after the children’s sermon
– no talking or whispering
– no fighting, wrestling or rough play
– sharing is caring
– when praying, kids must stop playing and pray along with us.

Special Thank You
to Karen (and assistant Jim) Guest for years of maintaining all our plants in the sanctuary.
We appreciate your hard work and attention which kept our church beautiful and full of life!     gardening-things.jpg
