What is Happening This Week 11/17-11/20/22

Holy Covenant Family,

Today a friend sent me a card that said: “It’s impossible to think of certain people without saying a thankful prayer.”

I feel that way when I think of all of you! I am so thankful that we are part of this church family!

This Sunday, Rev. Edlen Cowley will be with us to oversee our Charge Conference at 9:15 in the sanctuary. We will be live streaming as well. Pastor Edlen will join us for worship following the meeting. We have a very special baptism, our little Noah Walker Norris.  Hope you will be here for the baptism and the thanksgiving service.

Please bring your Discipleship Stewardship cards to the worship service.

We will be decorating the sanctuary following worship if you are available to help for a short time.
The Church office will be open on Monday and Tuesday this week. We will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday Wednesday – Friday.

Looking forward to greeting you on Sunday!

Shalom Blessings,
Pastor Cheryl

Thank You!
Dear Holy Covenant Family, Thanks to your wonderful and generous hearts, we made $23,623 in this year’s auction!  All that money will go toward the local and global missions of Holy Covenant. Thank you for your donated items, your bids, and most of all, thank you for your presence at the auction – it was so much fun! Kammie, the food was awesome. Thank you for cooking for us! Church members, thank you for the lovely desserts – they were delicious! Thanks to Elliott Beard and Randy Lasley for auctioneering for us, and to Rick Davis for being our spotter (without a whistle too, which is quite a feat). Thanks to Jeffrey Lasley, Joy Lasley, and Christine Perry for being quick on their toes during check-in and check-out. Thank you to Pastor Cheryl for giving up her day off to help set up. Lastly, thank you to the many hands who helped with last-minute set-up and a quick and tidy breakdown. Elise, thank you for the many, many things you do behind the scenes to make sure we stay on all cylinders. Holy Covenant, you are amazing.

Much love,
Melissa Beard
