What is Happening This Week 11/23-11/27/22

Happy Thanksgiving!

My favorite holiday: yummy food, family and friends around a table, football, gratitude felt and claimed, thankful hearts for the blessings in our lives. (And no gifts!)

I have shared this quote in a sermon but I thought it was worth another read for us:  “Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.”
– Melody Beattie

Living with a grateful heart, with a claim on the many blessings we experience every day, with a feeling of love – it will transform our souls and our lives!

I am grateful for each of you and calling this church family my home!

Enjoy the food, the company, the football!

Shalom Blessings,
Pastor Cheryl
