Hope your Lent is beginning with spiritual renewal through prayer, addressing habits that lead to restoring your relationship with God, and joining us to new insight on the world around us. These Lenten opportunities will lead us to holy living and a faithful journey to the cross.
This week we will be blessed by the presence of Dr. Ron Henderson (see bio below).
Please join us for ONE WORSHIP SERVICE at 10:30 AM. Enjoy our daily devotionals from church family. For now, masks are optional in the Holy Covenant building. Please continue to be safe and well.
I look forward to welcoming you on a very exciting Sunday for Holy Covenant!

Lent Prayer Jars
Add a spiritual practice to your family routine this Lent with a family gratitude jar. Make some time as a family each week to respond to a prompt and practice gratitude by writing something you’re grateful for on a slip of paper provided and place it in the jar. Throughout the week family members are encouraged to add to the jar. At the end of Lent open the jar together and look over all that you have been grateful for this season.
We will use the Lenten season to pilot a Children’s Church program during the 10:30am worship service. Children will come in for worship with their families and leave with Laulie after the Children’s message. Parents will pick up their kids in the gym at the end of the service. Children’s Church will include a short lesson, a relevant activity and free play. It is open to elementary aged children Kinder-5th grade. Sundays starting March 6 though April 10.

Aid for Ukraine
If you are looking for a secure way to support relief efforts in Ukraine, please read the following regarding UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) From the North Texas Conference: In response to the ongoing violence in Ukraine, many churches have inquired about how best to direct aid to those in need. The United Methodist Church in Ukraine and Moldova has created a crisis committee to oversee all incoming foreign support through UMCOR Advance #14053A and direct it to assist refugees within and outside of Ukraine. You can give directly online, or by phone or mail, referencing Advance #14053A.
Please feel free to share this information with anyone you know who wants to help, and continue to pray for peace in Ukraine.
