 Holy Covenant Friends, Join us on Sunday for Pentecost Worship – WEAR RED! We will worship outside at 8:30 am; forecasted to be a beautiful 72 degrees! At 10:30 we will celebrate with the ringing of the Covenant Carillons & the singing of the Wesleyan Choir to celebrate the arrival of the Holy Spirit! We will be sharing the Lord’s Holy Meal! Our communion offering will be going to purchase fans for our Fan Drive. Please plan on contributing $20 for a fan! I look forward to greeting you on Sunday morning! Highlight This Week Carrollton Pride Saturday, June 4 11 am – 3 pm Horizon Unitarian Universalist Church 1641 W. Hebron Parkway Carrollton, TX 75010 Come join the Celebration! Fun for all ages, food trucks, vendors, and live entertainment!!  Volunteers Needed! Sack Summer Hunger Saturdays in June and July Sign up HERE HCUMC will be participating in the Sack Summer Hunger Program again this summer. Sack Summer Hunger provides nutritious, easy-to-prepare meals to families with school-aged children who depend on free and reduced lunch programs throughout the school year. Meals are delivered every Saturday free of charge. This program is designed by Metrocrest Social Services who, in conjunction with area churches, supports local families in our community. The program begins June 4th and lasts through July 30th. We need volunteers to help pick up food from Metrocrest as well as deliver to the families. Vacation Bible School July 10-14 5:30 -8 pm for kids ages 3 thru 5th grade Monumental: Celebrating God’s Greatness. Go off-road for a Monumental adventure through the colorful canyons and sunbaked trails of the southwest. By exploring God’s awesomeness, kids form a rock-solid faith for the road ahead. We will have snack supper at 5:30 and then Monumental games, Bible Stories and FUN will begin at 6:00! Registration is now open for children AND volunteers! Register HERE! Food Pantry Pantry Hours: Tuesday-Thursday from 10-2 2nd and 4th Sundays from 12-1 pm URGENT needs: large pasta sauce, hearty soups, large canned chicken, instant mashed potatoes, chili, cereal and dog/cat food. Donations may be delivered Thursdays and Saturdays from 10:00-noon. In addition to that, we accept donations on Sundays before and after both worship services. There will be carts outside the Pantry for your donations. The Missions Team thanks you for always being there to support the Food Pantry with your donations, your time, and your prayers.
