What is Happening This Week 7/7-7/10/22

We have one more work day to set-up for Vacation Bible School. Helpers of all ages are asked to come tomorrow, Friday, July 8, from 9:00 am – noon.  

If you are a VBS volunteer, we will have training on Sunday, July 10 at 11:30 am in the Sanctuary (as soon as the 10:30 service is over). We will provide pizza for lunch as we learn everything we need to know about VBS!  

VBS begins on Sunday, July 10 at 5:30 pm! You can still register HERE. We are going to have a Monumental time!  

NO 8:30 am Worship    
We will resume outdoor worship when the weather is cooler.

Sack Summer Hunger provides nutritious, easy-to-prepare meals to families with school-aged children who depend on free and reduced lunch programs throughout the school year. Meals are delivered every Saturday free of charge.  
We especially need volunteers to deliver to the families!

Food Collection
Saturday, July 30

Holy Covenant Kitchen

Holy Covenant is scheduled to again provide breakfast for the homeless at Austin Street Shelter. If you are able to donate food, please prepare 12 sandwiches, 12 pieces of fruit and 12 hard-boiled eggs and deliver them to Holy Covenant on Saturday, July 30th, between 9 am and noon. Bottled water and juice boxes are also appreciated. Please drive around to the kitchen door where members of the Spiritual Journeymen will receive the donations from you.  

The Journeymen will deliver the food to Austin Street Saturday afternoon. Please contact Rick Davis (972-814-5325 [email protected]) with any questions.   

Now Hiring  
ECDP is looking for teachers to add to our staff! We need two Toddler/2’s teachers who will be willing to plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play based lessons, attend the needs of the children, build relationships with the children and their families, and all other aspects of working in these classrooms. This teacher will also work with other passionate early childhood educators.  

We also need a Music Teacher who will plan and implement developmentally appropriate music lessons for each class ages 18 months – Kindergarten (including instruments, dance, singing, etc.), build relationships with the children and their families, and work with other passionate early childhood educators. This teacher will work with the PE teacher and director to put together a Christmas show and a Spring show.  

We also need a PE Teacher who will plan and implement developmentally appropriate gross motor lessons (including movement and dance) for each class ages 18 months – Kindergarten, build relationships with the children and their families, and work with other passionate early childhood educators. This teacher will work with the music teacher and director to put together a Christmas show and a Spring show.

Food Pantry
Pantry Hours:
Tuesday-Thursday from 10-2 
2nd and 4th Sundays from 12-1 pm.  

URGENT needs: soups, chili, cereal, peanut butter, mac & cheese, cookies and dog/cat food.
Donations may be delivered Thursdays and Saturdays from 10:00-noon. In addition to that, we accept donations on Sundays before and after both worship services. There will be carts outside the Pantry for your donations.  

The Missions Team thanks you for always being there to support the Food Pantry with your donations, your time, and your prayers.
