Beloved Community,  

Merry Christmas!!! The waiting is nearly done! Hope your shopping and baking are nearly done! We are very excited and busy at the church setting up Joy’s Nativity scene, placing the poinsettias and preparing worship for Sunday!  

Sunday, Christmas Eve
10:30 AM Advent 4 – Love & the Christmas story with very special music
5:00 PM Christmas Eve Children’s Service – all children will be included in the Christmas story, sing favorite hymns, bells will ring and we will sing Silent Night with candles!
7:00 PM Christmas Eve Candlelight Service – We share scripture, sing favorite hymns, hear beautiful songs, youth bells will ring and we will sing Silent Night with candles!  

Everyone is welcome at all services! Please park far leaving close spots for guests! Please sit near so latecomers can be comfortable in the back rows.  

If you are available to greet and welcome, please come a bit early. We want everyone to feel at home on Christmas Eve at Holy Covenant!

We will gather for this traditional service with the Wesleyan Choir singing and worship ending in candlelight.

pancakes Dinner & Game Night  
Friday, December 22
6 to 9 pm
in the Covenant Center  
Bring your friends, family and your favorite games! Everyone is welcome. Dinner will be pancakes, so please contact Mandie Long  [email protected] to let her know what you can bring. Donations toward dinner expenses (utensils, beverages, etc.) can be made on the church website and are also appreciated.  

Food Pantry  
Pantry Hours:
Tuesday-Thursday from 10-2 (resumes 1/2/24)
2nd and 4th Sundays from 12-1 pm (resumes 1/14/24)  

Current needs include soups, black beans, pinto beans, cereal and pet food.  
Donations may be dropped off Tuesdays through Thursdays between 10 am and 2 pm. In addition to that, we accept donations on Sundays before and after worship. There will be carts outside the Pantry for your donations. We thank you for always being there to support the Food Pantry with your donations, your time, and your prayers.  

Holy Covenant Ornaments  
$10 each
We have special ornaments commemorating our 50th anniversary. There are several designs from which to choose. Pick yours up in the narthex this Sunday!

We need the following for the HCUMC Community Clothes Closet:
-Coats (all sizes)
-Men’s clothes (all sizes)
-Children’s clothes
-Shoes (all sizes, specifically work shoes, heavy duty shoes)
-New underwear and socks (all sizes)
-Mini shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, lotion  

Please bring clothes to the church office Tuesday – Thursday between 10 am and 2 pm or Sunday mornings.  



  Holy Covenant is Having a Birthday Celebration!  
2024 will be Holy Covenant’s 50th anniversary and we will celebrate April 13-14, 2024. We invite you to celebrate your church when you celebrate your birthday. Whenever your birthday falls, consider making a gift to HCUMC. Just mark your gift “Birthday Offering” and put it in the offering plate on Sunday or give ONLINE.
