What is Happening This Week 12/28-12/31/23

Beloved Community,

Hope you are having a restful fun week between holidays. Thank you for the many generous ways you have given to Holy Covenant over this past year. Our church family continues to grow, to impact the community and to deepen our faith through being followers of Jesus.

During worship on Christmas Eve morning, I shared my favorite post-Christmas poem. Thought you might enjoy it in writing:
The Work of Christmas
When the song of the angels is stilled,
When the star in the sky is gone,
When the kings and princes are home,
When the shepherds are back with their flock,
The work of Christmas begins:
To find the lost,
To heal the broken,
To feed the hungry,
To release the prisoner,
To rebuild the nations,
To bring peace among others,
To make music in the heart.
