Beloved Community,  

We have some wonderful celebrations over the next few days.  
Thursday evening, the ECDP Preschool is having their Spring Fling dinner, raffles and entertainment. All are welcome! Dinner and raffles begin at 5:30 pm. The show is precious, and we would love you to join us at 6:30 pm in the sanctuary!  
Saturday, a shredding truck will be in the parking lot from 8:30 to noon for Secure Document Shredding.
Spring Forth Celebration of Earth Day 2023 – fun activities, crafts and plant-based treats for children of all ages! Saturday 4-6 PM in Holy Covenant playground.  
Sunday, Celebration of our beautiful creation! Join us for worship at 10:30 AM!  

Wonderful ways to connect with the world God has given us to enjoy and your beloved church community!

ECDP Spring Fling

5:30 pm
We are offering 2 dinner times at 5:30 pm and 6 pm, followed by a performance by the students of ECDP at 6:30 pm. There are themed baskets and items from local businesses to bid on. All proceeds will go towards the preschool, especially the sensory lab and outdoor learning area.

Secure Document Shredding
Saturday, April 22
8:30 am to Noon
Sponsored by Holy Covenant’s Green Team. Open to the public. Protect your identity while supporting Holy Covenant. Watch your documents being shredded on site with the utmost security. $5 per copy paper sized box. Invite your friends and family to bring their sensitive documents to be shredded. Shredding will be done by Secure On Site Shredding Inc.

Spring Forth with HCUMC

Celebrate Earth Day with us with crafts and activities, plant-based treats, and a bounce house! 

We will also be accepting electronics for recycling: computers, laptops, phones, chargers, batteries, Christmas lights, power tools, cables & wires, CDs & DVDs, VHS tapes, digital & video cameras, speakers, video game systems, cassette tapes, and small kitchen appliances, etc.

Breakfast for Austin Street
Food Collection
Saturday, April 29
9 am to Noon
Holy Covenant Kitchen  

Holy Covenant is scheduled to again provide breakfast for the homeless at Austin Street Shelter. If you are able to donate food, please prepare 12 sandwiches, 12 pieces of fruit and 12 hard-boiled eggs and deliver them to Holy Covenant on Saturday, April 29th, between 9 am and noon. Bottled water and juice boxes are also appreciated. Please drive around to the kitchen door where members of the Spiritual Journeymen will receive the donations from you.  

Austin Street has raised the total number of beds from 400 to 500 so the need for food has increased. The Journeymen will deliver the food to Austin Street Saturday afternoon. Please contact Rick Davis (972-814-5325  [email protected]) with any questions.     


Blood Drive

As a thank-you, April donors will receive an insulated water bottle–while supplies last. Please donate if you can!  


Food Pantry
Pantry Hours:
Tuesday-Thursday from 10-2 
In April, 3rd and 5th Sundays from 12-1 pm  

We currently need: soups, chili, canned chicken and dry pet food.  
Donations may be delivered Tuesdays through Thursdays between 10:00 am and noon. In addition to that, we accept donations on Sundays before and after both worship services. There will be carts outside the Pantry for your donations.

The Missions Team thanks you for always being there to support the Food Pantry with your donations, your time, and your prayers.
