Beloved Community!

Hope and pray you are surviving these sizzling temperatures.

We have a very cool (in more ways than one) opportunity for you on Sunday morning. Rev. Andy Lewis, former pastor of HCUMC, and current Director of Missional Outreach and Assistant to the Bishop will join us during the Sunday School hour in the sanctuary. Andy will be sharing his work with churches that have disaffiliated, the past and future General Conferences and the hope for all that lies ahead in the UMC. Please join us at 9:15.

Rev. Lewis will be joining me for worship as we celebrate our passion for the United Methodist Church.
I look forward to greeting you on Sunday morning!

Shalom Blessings,
Pastor Cheryl Murphy

Holy Covenant is scheduled to again provide breakfast for the homeless at Austin Street Shelter. If you are able to donate food, please prepare 12 sandwiches, 12 pieces of fruit and 12 hard-boiled eggs and deliver them to Holy Covenant on Saturday, July 29th, between 9 am and noon. Bottled water and juice boxes are also appreciated. Please drive around to the kitchen door where members of the Spiritual Journeymen will receive the donations from you.

Austin Street has raised the total number of beds from 400 to 500 so the need for food has increased. The Spiritual Journey Class will deliver the food to Austin Street Saturday afternoon. Please contact Rick Davis (972-814-5325 [email protected]) with any questions.
