What is Happening This Week 8/10-8/13/23

Beloved Community,

My prayers have been surrounding many of you as you have entered the doorways of a new school year! Hope it was a good beginning for each of you! We had a wonderful time at our Back-to-School lunch and fellowship. So great to gather with so many of you!

We have lots of activities you may want to be a part of this Sunday!
Sunday School classes are beginning fall programing.
9:30 Overview: Laulie and I will gather to kick off some new fall programs happening both on Sunday mornings and throughout the week.
10:30 Worship will welcome back the choir after a restful summer break. We will reflect on Luke 16’s parable about Lazarus and the rich man. We will gather in the sanctuary and live stream.
11:30 Administrative Council will meet in the sanctuary. We will review our financial situation, discuss facilities and property issues, and look toward the ministries planned for the remainder of 2023. The meeting is open for all to attend!

We are grateful for the many ways you support our church family. We hope you are prayerfully thinking about new ways you can participate in our mission, our service, our small groups and our worship celebrations!

I look forward to greeting you on Sunday!

Shalom Blessings,
Pastor Cheryl Murphy
