![]() Fun events continue this weekend in the Pumpkin Patch! Friday night, Efrain Sain and his brass ensemble will play beginning at 7 pm. On Saturday, You are invited to dress up for the All-Day Costume Contest, meet Princess Belle between 11 and 1 and come back for S’mores and Spooky Hayrides at 7 pm. This Sunday afternoon, the Scarecrow (Brian Henry) will be reading seasonal stories at 4 pm. The preschool is requesting help this Saturday morning with moving sand from the parking lot to the sandbox. Please be here at 9 am and bring shovels and wheelbarrows if you have them! On Sunday, Laulie Eckeberger will be preaching on Philippians 2:1-11 at 10:30 am. Next week, we have important events in the life of the church. On Thursday, October 24th, we will hold our Charge Conference at 7 pm to review the year and to vote on leadership for next year. On Saturday, October 26th, we will meet for a Visioning Summit from 9 am to noon when we will plan for the future of Holy Covenant. Please RSVP to [email protected] if you plan to attend. Another great event next week will be a piano concert featuring our own Astrid Morales! On Friday, October 25th at 7 pm, Astrid and Dr. Gabriela Calderon will perform Celebrating Women in Music, piano works written for 4 hands–all by women composers. Edlen Cowley to review the past year reports, set the salary for the senior pastor, and approve new leadership for 2025. We will discuss and possibly vote on the use of our easement for the City of Carrollton to build a parking lot that will support the Woodlake Park Project. Please plan to attend. ![]() Pizza & Game Night Friday, October 25 6 pm Covenant Center Bring your friends, family, and your favorite games! Everyone is welcome. A love offering will be collected for food. Please join us for this very important meeting about our future! ![]() Pantry Hours: Tuesday-Thursday from 10-2 2nd and 4th Sundays from 12-1 pm We currently need soups, peanut butter, mac & cheese, canned chicken, tuna and pet food. Donations may be dropped off Tuesdays through Thursdays between 10 am and 2 pm. In addition to that, we accept donations on Sundays before and after worship. There will be carts outside the Pantry for your donations. ![]() Breakfast for Austin Street Center Food Collection Saturday, November 2 9 am to Noon Holy Covenant Kitchen Holy Covenant is scheduled to again provide breakfast for the homeless at Austin Street Center. If you are able to donate food, please prepare 12 sandwiches, 12 pieces of fruit and 12 hard-boiled eggs and deliver them to Holy Covenant on Saturday, November 2, between 9 am and noon. Bottled water, snack bars and juice boxes are also appreciated. Please bring any leftover Halloween candy for clients at ASC, also!
