7:00 PM Tonight, Thursday, HCUMC Charge Conference with Rev Edlen Cowley our District Superintendent – Everyone welcome! Voting on 2025 leadership and Pastor’s salary. (We will not be voting on the parking lot this evening. We are still waiting on the contract to be returned.) 

Friday – Last day of pumpkin sales!
6:00 PM Game Night in the Covenant Center
7:00 PM Concert – with Astrid Mand Dr. Gabriela Calderon performing Celebrating Women in Music, piano works written for 4 hands–all by women composers-Awesome! 

Saturday
–9:00 AM – Visioning Summit with Rev Carol Montgomery – Calling all lay leaders that want to be a part of planning the next few years at Holy Covenant. (RSVP to [email protected]

Sunday
-9:15 AM – Sunday School for all ages
10:30 AM – Worship in the sanctuary – during this stressful season, let us seek a holy space for being ourselves in Shalom peace – Read Psalm 23 in preparation.

Bring your friends, family, and your favorite games! Everyone is welcome. A love offering will be collected for food. Donations toward dinner expenses can also be made on the church website and are much appreciated.

Carol Montgomery will assist us in focusing on the ways we can serve the community, remain an active presence in social justice, and become more financially sustainable. Our theme is DREAM BIG: Let us use what God has entrusted to us to take risks, be creative, and transform lives. Please join us for this very important meeting about our future!

Empowered Living: Strategies for Thriving

Pastor Cheryl invites women to join her for a monthly program that will reflect on the best part of our lives moving from surviving to thriving. Breakfast for Austin Street Center
Food Collection
Saturday, November 2
9 am to Noon
Holy Covenant Kitchen 
Holy Covenant is scheduled to again provide breakfast for the homeless at Austin Street Center. If you are able to donate food, please prepare 12 sandwiches, 12 pieces of fruit and 12 hard-boiled eggs and deliver them to Holy Covenant on Saturday, November 2, between 9 am and noon. Bottled water, snack bars and juice boxes are also appreciated. 

Please bring any leftover Halloween candy for clients at ASC, also!

The HCUMC Community Clothes Closet is very low on all items.
We currently need the following:
-Men’s clothes
-Women’s clothes
-Children’s clothes
-Shoes (all sizes)
-New underwear and socks (all sizes)
-Mini shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, lotion 

Please bring clothes to the church Tuesday – Thursday between 10 am and 2 pm or Sunday mornings.

Prayer Service
Monday, November 4th

in the Sanctuary
We will gather on the eve of the election for a meditative worship service with prayer and music.

Food Pantry
Pantry Hours:
Tuesday-Thursday from 10-2 
2nd and 4th Sundays from 12-1 pm

We currently need soups, peanut butter, mac & cheese, canned chicken, tuna and pet food.Donations may be dropped off Tuesdays through Thursdays between 10 am and 2 pm. In addition to that, we accept donations on Sundays before and after worship. There will be carts outside the Pantry for your donations.
