Voting on 2025 leadership and Pastor’s salary. (We will not be voting on the parking lot this evening. We are still waiting on the contract to be returned.) Friday – Last day of pumpkin sales! 6:00 PM Game Night in the Covenant Center 7:00 PM Concert – with Astrid Mand Dr. Gabriela Calderon performing Celebrating Women in Music, piano works written for 4 hands–all by women composers-Awesome! Saturday –9:00 AM – Visioning Summit with Rev Carol Montgomery – Calling all lay leaders that want to be a part of planning the next few years at Holy Covenant. Donations toward dinner expenses can also be made on the church website and are much appreciated.  Celebrating Women in Music Piano Concert Friday, October 25 7 pm in the sanctuary Our own Astrid Morales and Dr. Gabriela Calderon will perform piano works for 4-hands solely written by women composers. A love offering will be collected.  Visioning Summit Saturday, October 26 9 am to Noon in the sanctuary with Rev. Carol Montgomery Please RSVP to Pastor Cheryl if you plan to attend! Please join us for a visioning meeting for leadership and the beloved community members who want to help create all that God is calling us to in the next 50 years! Rev. Carol Montgomery will assist us in focusing on the ways we can serve the community, remain an active presence in social justice, and become more financially sustainable. Highlights Next Week  Empowered Living: Strategies for Thriving Tuesday, October 29 6-7:30 pm in the Covenant Center Pastor Cheryl invites women to join her for a monthly program that will reflect on the best part of our lives moving from surviving to thriving. Guest speakers will address different aspects of our lives.Join us Tuesday, October 29 from 6 -7:30 pm for a light dinner and program. Breakfast for Austin Street Center Food Collection Saturday, November 2 9 am to Noon Holy Covenant Kitchen Holy Covenant is scheduled to again provide breakfast for the homeless at Austin Street Center. If you are able to donate food, please prepare 12 sandwiches, 12 pieces of fruit and 12 hard-boiled eggs and deliver them to Holy Covenant on Saturday, November 2, between 9 am and noon. Bottled water, snack bars and juice boxes are also appreciated. Please bring any leftover Halloween candy for clients at ASC, also! We currently need the following: -Men’s clothes -Women’s clothes -Children’s clothes -Shoes (all sizes) -New underwear and socks (all sizes) -Mini shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, lotion Please bring clothes to the church Tuesday – Thursday between 10 am and 2 pm or Sunday mornings. Coming Soon  Prayer ServiceMonday, November 4th 7 pm in the Sanctuary We will gather on the eve of the election for a meditative worship service with prayer and music.  Food PantryPantry Hours: Tuesday-Thursday from 10-2 2nd and 4th Sundays from 12-1 pm We currently need soups, peanut butter, mac & cheese, canned chicken, tuna and pet food.Donations may be dropped off Tuesdays through Thursdays between 10 am and 2 pm. In addition to that, we accept donations on Sundays before and after worship. There will be carts outside the Pantry for your donations.
