What is Happening This Week 2/15-2/18/24
Beloved Community, Our Lenten journey began last evening at our Ash Wednesday Taize Worship Service. I hope you are spending these 40 days weaving in time with God through prayer, fasting from things that separate you from God and thriving in transformational growth in your faith journey. I am looking forward to the devotionals every day! Thank you for sharing your faithful reflections! On Sunday we are inviting you to join us at 9:00 AM in the sanctuary for a Micah Program presented by Metrocrest Services addressing our unhoused neighbors. We have a great deal to learn about these friends and how we might serve them. The hour may alter our view of these community members. During our Lent worship services we will be fasting from behaviors that may be pulling us away from the disciples we are called to be. Our first Sunday will encourage us to fast from worry and anxiety. We will be reflecting on Jesus’ words in Luke 12 about not worrying. I am looking forward to greeting you on Sunday! Shalom Blessings, Pastor Cheryl Murphy 10:30 am Sunday Morning Worship In-person and Livestreamed Join us either in-person, or for online worship on Facebook Live.
