What is Happening This Week 3/14-3/17/24

Beloved Community,

Hope you are enjoying this week!

Everyone is welcome to join me in the Shalom Center for coffee at 9:30 AM on Sunday for conversation about Holy Covenant or if you are interested in joining the church.

We will have our final Lent Sunday before moving into Holy Week next weekend. Hope you will find some green to wear on St Patrick’s Day. This week we will fast from resentment. Patrick’s story will help us in our reflections.

We will have an Ad Council meeting following worship on Sunday. We will give a brief review of ministries, plans for our 50th Celebration and opportunities for the spring & summer. If you want to know more about Holy Covenant, please join us. Everyone is welcome!

I look forward to greeting you on Sunday!

St. Patrick’s Blessing
May your days be many and your troubles be few.
May all God’s blessings descend upon you.
May peace be within you, may your heart be strong.
May you find what you’re seeking wherever you roam.
May the strength of God pilot us, may the wisdom of God instruct us.
May the hand of God protect us, may the word of God direct us.
May your Salvation, O Lord,  be always ours this day and for evermore.
Amen

Shalom Blessings,
Pastor Cheryl Murphy

Take the Survey
As most of you know, social justice and missions work is the heart and soul of Holy Covenant UMC. The purpose of the Advocates for Justice and Peace committee is to serve Holy Covenant as its primary resource and catalyst for the work of social justice. For us to do this effectively, we need to hear from you!

Please take a moment to respond to this anonymous survey by March 18, 2024. It will only take about 2 minutes to complete and will make a world of difference as it will help us find the best way to navigate the many justice issues facing our church, our communities, and our world.
