What is Happening This Week 5/9-5/12/24

Beloved Community,

These final weeks of the school year feel a bit frantic! Hope you are enjoying final concerts, sporting events, celebrations and graduations! Our Holy Covenant family is honoring our high school graduate Ava Leppert on Sunday. We will visit with her during worship about accomplishments, dreams and her future. Please bring a card to share with her!

This Sunday is a favorite one for me! The HC Youth will be leading worship. They want to share their passion, their talents, and their stories with all of us. They have planned a very special worship celebration! Hope you will join us!

We will have a Taize service on Wednesday, May 15 at 5:30 pm with prayer, silence, and communion in the sanctuary.

I look forward to greeting you on Sunday!

Shalom Blessings,
Pastor Cheryl Murphy

This Sunday in worship we will be honoring our high school senior, Ava Leppert.

Sign up HERE
HCUMC is participating in the Sack Summer Hunger Program again this summer, providing nutritious, easy-to-prepare meals to families with school-aged children who depend on free and reduced lunch programs throughout the school year. Meals are delivered every Saturday free of charge. This program is facilitated by Metrocrest Services who, in conjunction with area churches, supports local families in our community.

The program begins June 1st and lasts through July 27th. We need drivers to pick up food from Metrocrest, someone to sort the bags for delivery, drivers to deliver to the families and someone to return any leftover food to Metrocrest. The commitment is no more than 2 hours (between 8 am and noon) on Saturday morning. If you have questions, email Laulie Eckeberger at [email protected]. Sign up HERE!
