Sack Summer Hunger: Saturdays, June 14-August 9, 2014

Once again we are partnering with Metrocrest Social Services and other area churches to distribute sacks of easy to prepare food to underserved children in our community. Volunteers are needed to: Pick up food at Metrocrest (7:45 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.) Sort at the church (7-10 people) (9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.) Deliver to homes (4 teams of 2 people) (10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.) Distribute at church (2 people) (10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.) You can also help by purchasing a Sack Summer Hunger bracelet, on Sunday morning, for $5 —the cost of feeding one child breakfast and lunch for a week.
