About Us
Did you know Youth Ministry is only about 100 years old? Its current form is really about 50 years old! So who are we and what do we do? We are students in 7th-12th grades who seek to encounter and know God. We don’t have it all figured out by any stretch of the imagination. We look to find opportunities to grow in relationship with each other and other folks in our community. We seek to become the nameless servant for the least of these among us. We enjoy worshipping as a group and playing games as well. We believe in acceptance of ALL of God’s children. Join us as we search for where God is leading us!
Sunday School in Action
We meet at 9:45 a.m. every Sunday to connect with each other and study the Bible.
United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF)
UMYF group is for students 6th-12th grade. We generally meet Sundays in the Covenant Center after the close of the 11:00 a.m. worship service, which is around 12:15 p.m. We have a snack lunch time called Covent Café with children, youth, and adults.
At 12:45 p.m., the youth start their group time with programming to encourage spiritual growth, deepen Biblical & theological understanding, and provide guidance in daily Christian living and witness.
We generally end our time with games and fun activates. UMYF ends at 2:15 p.m.
