Austin Street Center
Austin Street Center provides safe shelter and meets the basic needs of the most vulnerable homeless.
Holy Covenant provides breakfast at the Austin Street Center on scheduled Sundays. Food donations will be accepted on Saturday morning before our day to serve.
Check back here for our next opportunity to serve.
Please bring food donations on that Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. in the HCUMC Kitchen.

All are welcome to travel with us to Austin Street Sunday Morning at 4:15 am from the HCUMC Kitchen. We will drive to Austin Street, set up and serve breakfast. We will also collect retail plastic bags for the residents to carry their food because all residents must leave the shelter at 6:00 am.

Youth First
The Holy Covenant Advocates for Justice and Peace provide a family-style meal once a quarter for the youth and families of Youth First at the Resource Center in Dallas. Youth First is one of the only LGBTQ-focused programs in North Texas that addresses the challenges LGBTQ teens face at home, school and in the community.
Serving middle and high school aged youth, 12-18 years old, Youth First equips them with the tools and resources they need to lead authentic lives. Family ties are strengthened, peer support networks are built and mental health is supported through activities that build confidence and address the specific issues that LGBTQ teens face during their critical and formative years. In addition, Youth First provides programming and resources for parents and families.
If you would like to provide food or join the Advocates, please contact Kathy Amos.
