Pastors will always be on the front lines of caring for members of this congregation, especially in times of crisis. But there are always many more needs for ongoing, one-to-one care than pastors can effectively meet by themselves.

Stephen Ministry provides a biblical solution... equipping God’s people for ministry. Have you become a “go to” person for your family members and friends where they know they will find a sympathetic, listening ear? Gifted lay people (like you??) are trained to support and extend the care that our pastors provide.

Stephen Ministers reach out with God’s love to people who are hurting — both members in and out of our church community. They are lay members of our congregation trained to listen, care, encourage, and provide emotional and spiritual support to other congregation members (and to people within the community) who are facing a crisis or going through tough times. This care will be highly confidential, free, and very helpful to the healing process of the person needing care.
