Family Ministry
We walk alongside families in their daily lives and provide a variety of opportunities for families to serve together in mission, build strong relationships, and enjoy life together with other families in our community. Find your place to plug in!
Family Service Days
Families serve together in our food pantry and clothing closet on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays at 11am. There are also many other opportunities for families to serve together throughout the year.
Family Fellowship
Holy Covenant offers several opportunities for the whole family to participate and connect with others. We thrive on being a multi-generational church. Some events include monthly game nights, weekly summer pool days at Rosemead Rainforest, community potlucks, Advent and Easter festivals, and the fall Pumpkin Patch.
Prayer Partners
Every one of our students in Kindergarten through 12th grade has been assigned an adult prayer partner from our church who prays for them by name each day. We see this as part of what it means to be church with and for one another and we love supporting our children and youth in this way!
Children's Ministry
At Holy Covenant UMC, our Children’s Ministry builds a strong, welcoming community where kids of all backgrounds can explore faith in a relaxed and affirming environment—through meaningful lessons, lasting friendships, and fun special events for the whole family.
Children's Sunday School
Every Sunday at 9:15am kids from kindergarten through 5th grade meet in a fun, engaging space where they explore Bible stories, ask questions, and build faith through hands-on learning and joyful community.
Annual Events
We host several events throughout the year including Vacation Bible School, Fall Festival and Pumpkin Patch, Advent Festival, Back to School Bash, Easter Egg Hunt, Fine Arts Camp, and more! Check out the calendar for details.
Childcare and Kids in Worship
Childcare is available every Sunday from 9:15-11:30am for infants to Pre-K. We welcome and encourage children in worship. We have a children's corner in the sanctuary where kids can be engaged in worship in a space where wiggles are welcome!
Youth Ministry
Our Youth Ministry for 6th–12th graders creates a loving and safe space where teens can thrive as they wrestle with big questions, find strength for life’s pressures, and grow together in faith, friendship, and purpose.
Youth Sunday School
Youth meet at 9:15am every Sunday for a time of prayer, discussion, journaling, and community building in separate Junior High and High School groups.
Youth on Wednesday Nights
Youth in 6th-12th grades meet on Wednesdays from 6-7pm for fun activities, lively conversation, and community building.
Annual Events
Each year our Youth Ministry offers a Winter Retreat, a summer Mission Trip, a 5-day youth camp at Camp Bridgeport, and a summer schedule full of activities and adventures around town.
