Upcoming Service Opportunities
At Holy Covenant UMC, we believe that serving others is a vital expression of our faith and a core part of our calling as followers of Christ. Rooted in the words of Micah 6:8—to do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with God—we are committed to engaging in meaningful service that reflects God’s love and justice in our local community and beyond. Whether through acts of compassion, advocacy, or hands-on work, we strive to respond to the needs around us with open hearts and willing hands. Service at Holy Covenant is not just about volunteering; it’s about living out our faith in ways that make a real difference and build lasting relationships grounded in dignity, equity, and care.
Blood Drive
Sunday, Sept. 21
9:30am - 12:30pm
The Carter Care Blood Drive Bus will be on-site, offering a meaningful opportunity to serve our community through blood donation. Each donation has the power to save up to three lives, making this simple act of generosity a profound way to extend care, hope, and healing to those in need—and to live out our call to love and serve our neighbors with compassion.
Austin Street Center
Saturday, Nov. 2 Collection
Sunday, Nov. 3 Serving
On the Saturday morning before our scheduled Sunday at Austin Street Center, Holy Covenant UMC’s kitchen buzzes with energy as volunteers come together from 9:00am - 12:00pm to collect food donations offered with love by our congregation.

Then, at 7:00am Sunday morning, those donations are delivered to Austin Street Center, where our team serves breakfast to hundreds of unhoused neighbors. In this simple yet powerful act, we extend hospitality, dignity, and compassion—living out our call to do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with God.
